Here’s what’s coming, what’s included, and how to make sure you get a look before they move.

What Is the Bennington S-One?

The S-One isn’t a budget sub-brand or a stripped-down special. It’s a curated collection within Bennington’s S Series — the same boats, packaged around the layouts, options, and engines families choose most often.

That’s the whole idea behind the pricing. Building a pontoon one option at a time is how the number climbs. By bundling the popular choices into set packages, Bennington brought the entry point down without pulling out the equipment buyers care about.

The result is the most accessible way into the Bennington lineup — and for a lot of first-time pontoon buyers in Oklahoma and Texas, the difference between shopping the brand they wanted and settling for something else.

What Comes Standard on Every S-One

This is where the S-One separates itself from most entry-level pontoons. A lot of budget boats hit their advertised price by making everything an add-on. Every S-One includes:

• Garmin EchoMap — sonar and GPS chartplotting, not a basic gauge cluster
• Four-speaker AM/FM/Bluetooth audio system

• 10′ quick-release Bimini top

The Garmin is the one that gets people’s attention. On many entry-level pontoons, a real chartplotter with sonar is a four-figure upgrade. Having it standard on a boat starting under $30,000 is genuinely unusual — and on water like Grand Lake or Lake Texoma, navigation isn’t a luxury item.

Lengths, Layouts, and Colors

Lengths: 18′ to 22′, so there’s a fit whether you’re a couple who occasionally hosts or a family that always seems to bring three extra kids.

Layouts: Stern Lounge, Swingback, Bench, and Fish. Cruising, entertaining, or casting — there’s a configuration built for it.

Exterior colors: Absolute Red, Midnight Blue, Metallic Silver, and Gemini Black, each with matching canvas.

The Decision That Matters Most: Twin Tube or SPS Tri-Toon

If you take one thing away before you visit, take this. The tube configuration will shape your experience on the water more than color, layout, or anything else on the order sheet.

Twin Tube

Two tubes. Smooth, easy cruising, and the lower-cost path into the S-One. The right call if you spend your days in protected coves, on smaller lakes, or anchored more than running.

SPS Tri-Toon

Adds a third center tube, WaveTamer, and hydraulic steering — plus the ski tow bar as standard. The difference isn’t subtle: better handling, more speed, more stability in chop, and real watersports capability.

For most Oklahoma and Texas families, this is the recommendation. Our lakes are big, they get rough in the afternoon, and if there’s a kid in your life you will eventually be pulling a tube. If your budget has any flex, spend it here first.

Engine Options

S-One models are available with Yamaha, Mercury, or Suzuki outboards from 90 HP to 150 HP, depending on your layout and tube configuration.

Our general guidance: if you’re twin tube in calm coves running light, the middle of that range works fine. If you’re going SPS, carrying a full boat, or towing anything, get as close to 150 HP as your configuration allows. Underpowered is the most common regret we hear from pontoon owners, and it’s the one thing you can’t easily fix later.
